The Different Levels of the Game
Here are the main levels of football...

Youth Football
This includes leagues for kids, often starting as young as 5–6 years old. It focuses on learning fundamentals, safety, and basic teamwork.

Semi-Professional Football
These are adult leagues outside of school systems. They vary in competitiveness but allow players to continue playing without being in college or the pros.

High School Football
Played at the high school level, it’s where players get more structured coaching and more complex playbooks. Competition varies widely depending on the school and region.

Professional Football
This is the highest level, with the NFL being the most prominent league in the United States. Players are paid, competition is elite, and the sport is played at its most advanced level.

College Football
This includes multiple divisions (like NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA). The skill level is higher, games are more competitive, and some players use this level to prepare for professional careers.

These can be played at nearly every age level. They focus more on speed and strategy than physical contact and are popular for recreation and training.
